Who Can Join the SDH Program?
1. Malaysian citizen, within the schooling age group — from preschool to upper secondary level.
2. Registered with a government school.
3. Expected to undergo hospital treatment for more than 3 days or require repeated treatments (e.g., dialysis).
4. Certified by a medical officer as a student who is clinically fit and ready to learn.
5. students who meet the following criteria are eligible to be considered for participation in the SDH Program:
- students receiving treatment at the Day Care Centre;
- students who are accompanying and caring for patients in the ward;
- other students at the discretion of the program supervisor and the hospital; and
- preschool students.
6. Obtains written consent from parents or guardians.
